Cooprated Activity with all of Clubs in Kyoto City

| Kyoto City mayor asked for this Activities with
cooperating from himself when we visited Kyoto City mayor
in July to report installation as the Governor in 1998. It was right after "The Child Assembly by the school child" was held at that time. A school child did the question of " Why is there are no address bulletin board of the foreign language though Kyoto city is being called with Tourist Town ? " in that assembly. If it says so, there is guidance of English and Japanese in the big road. But, a mayor noticed that there was no address indication board of the foreign language, too. He had promised the examination to the school child. Above is the beginning. Then, a Japanese address guide plate with the mark of the goods which have already been installed was pictured. He thought whether it had it changed to the foreign language. We visited there when he considered including the cost. It becomes public relations if a lion mark is instead of the mark of the goods. Then, we accepted cooperation because a purpose agreed in "public relations program of this year Lions club International President" and "District Governor policy", if the following condition was concluded. (1) Kyoto City gets permission to a building to install it. (2) Kyoto City makes it, and Kyoto City installs it. (3) Put the LionsClub mark and the donated club name |

| This activity is along the purpose of LionsClub. But, originally. Activities are independently in the unit of the club. But, this activity that it is installed in the whole area of Kyoto city are unacceptable in the single club. There is no effect even if few signs are installed. It isn't installed by the various forms. There is effect after it was unified design and it was very much installed and became a part of the scenery of the town. They are global activities with the scale advantage. Therefore, the result of this activity is enough for the clubs of the city to cooperate. When it guesses it from the viewpoint of the public relations. It becomes the exaltation of the image of LionsClub that a lionsmark is installed in each crossing of the city. and, it becomes the advantage of the club. |
